A community pharmacy branch is seeking an enthusiastic Pharmacist to join their welcoming and supportive team in Doncaster.Situated in the heart of a village in Doncaster , this branch is amid a row of shops on a main road. There is a large, unique shop floor that provides the opportunity for over the counter and add-on sales, and the engaged, long-standing team have built up excellent customer relationships.

As well as providing excellent customer care, we support the needs and expectations of our patients through the various local, enhanced, and essential NHS services. These include NMS, DMS, CPCS and FLU as well as private services including ear care, acne, pneumococcal vaccinations, alcohol reduction and weight loss programme.

Key Duties

  • Maintaining a professional and welcoming approach to all aspects of the role
  • To check prescription medicines to patients, checking the form, strength, dosage and ensuring that medicines are correctly and safely labelled and supplied
  • To abide by the GPhC code of ethics, observing and applying all professional, ethical and legal obligations
  • Build strong working relationships with colleagues and health care professionals
  • To keep up to date with current pharmacy practice, new drugs and their uses for the purpose of continuing professional development
