A busy community pharmacy attached to a GP Surgery is seeking an experienced Pharmacist to develop closer links to the surgery and expand services.Attached to a GP surgery with increasing patient numbers, this busy branch has an experienced support team. There is easy access from the M18 and M180 and good transport links. This branch provides an excellent opportunity for an experienced pharmacist looking to develop closer links with the surgery and to expand the services on offer to the local community.

As the pharmacist on site you will be responsible for supporting the Pharmacy Manager to deliver great service, stock control, operational and GPhC standards.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30 - 18:30

Key Duties

  • Maintaining a professional and welcoming approach to all aspects of the role
  • To check prescription medicines to patients, checking the form, strength, dosage and ensuring that medicines are correctly and safely labelled and supplied
  • Providing expert clinical advice to customers
  • To abide by the GPhC code of ethics, observing and applying all professional, ethical and legal obligations
  • Build strong working relationships with colleagues and health care professionals
  • To keep up to date with current pharmacy practice, new drugs and their uses for the purpose of continuing professional development
  • If there are additional services which may interest you then we would be willing to consider implementing these.
