An exciting opportunity for a driven Pharmacist to be part of a hard-working and supportive team in a Community Pharmacy situated on a high street.This modern and busy branch is situated on a high street that provides high footfall and is just a short walk away from another branch, meaning there is always more support on hand. It has a large shop floor that lends itself to increasing over the counter sales, and 2 consultation rooms in which to deliver services.

Currently dispensing around 6,000 items per month.

As the pharmacist on site you will be responsible for supporting the Pharmacy Manager to deliver great service, stock control, operational and GPhC standards.

Opening Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00 - 18:30. NO Weekends.

Key Duties

  • Develop and manage the branch team to ensure a safe, efficient, and profitable branch focusing on company KPI's.
  • Work collaboratively with other branches, Area Managers, Pharmacy support and the wider BSC for supporting company growth and success.
  • To abide by the GPhC code of ethics, observing and applying all professional, ethical and legal obligations
  • To keep up to date with current pharmacy practice, new drugs and their uses for the purpose of continuing professional development
  • Alongside the dispensing of medication, you will also be supporting the needs and expectations of our patients through the various local, enhanced, and essential NHS services. These include NMS, DMS, CPCS and FLU as well as private services including ear care, acne, pneumococcal vaccinations, alcohol reduction and weight loss programmes.
