We are seeking a dedicated Class Teacher KS1/2 to join a vibrant school community. Day-to-day of the role:- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning to pupils within KS1 or KS2.
- Plan, prepare and present lessons that cater to the needs of the whole ability range within the class.
- Maintain discipline in accordance with the school's procedures and encourage good practice with regard to punctuality, behaviour, standards of work and homework.
- Evaluate and assess the progress of pupils and provide regular feedback to ensure their success.
- Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues to foster an inclusive and supportive school environment.
- Participate in and organise extracurricular activities, such as outings, social activities and sporting events.
- Continuously update personal professional development and participate in staff training sessions.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Class Teacher in KS1 or KS2.
- Strong understanding of the current curriculum and educational practices.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Ability to create an inclusive classroom environment that is conducive to learning.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to professional development and a proactive approach to learning new skills.
