To be successful in this role you will need:

  • A friendly and approachable manner, with the ability to build relationships quickly!
  • QTS (qualified teacher status)
  • Experience teaching in UK primary schools within Key Stage 2.
  • Good knowledge of the KS2 national curriculum.
  • Proven experience in supporting children through SATs assessments.
  • Strong behaviour management skills.
  • The ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

As a supply teacher your duties may include:

  • Delivering pre-planned lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Assessing and tracking pupils’ progress and adapting teaching methods accordingly.
  • Communicating with teachers and parents to ensure continuity of learning.
  • Maintaining accurate records of childrens’ behaviour and attendance.
