To be successful in this role you will need:
- A friendly and approachable manner, with the ability to build relationships quickly!
- QTS (qualified teacher status)
- Experience teaching in UK primary schools within Key Stage 2.
- Good knowledge of the KS2 national curriculum.
- Proven experience in supporting children through SATs assessments.
- Strong behaviour management skills.
- The ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
As a supply teacher your duties may include:
- Delivering pre-planned lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Assessing and tracking pupils’ progress and adapting teaching methods accordingly.
- Communicating with teachers and parents to ensure continuity of learning.
- Maintaining accurate records of childrens’ behaviour and attendance.
