Job Description:

I am seeking a highly experienced KS2 Teacher to support a Year 5 class at a 'Good' rated, large primary school in Doncaster. The school are part of a multi-academy trust dedicated to inclusivity and diversity - the school is a wonderful place to work, and they have a strong focus on ensuring all staff within their school receive more than adequate support to do their jobs to the best of their abilities. I am delighted to work with this school exclusively on their recruitment for this role and matching the perfect teacher for them.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum.
Plan and mark students' work to ensure continuous progress.
Manage classroom behaviour effectively to create a safe and supportive learning environment.
Support students in their transition into Year 6, ensuring they are well-prepared for the next stage of their education.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum.
Excellent behaviour management skills.
Commitment to the role and the ability to support children's educational and emotional needs.
Must have an up-to-date DBS on the update service.
