Job Description:

I am seeking a highly experienced KS2 Teacher to support a Year 5 class at a 'Good' rated, large primary school in Doncaster. The school are part of a multi-academy trust dedicated to inclusivity and diversity - the school is a wonderful place to work, and they have a strong focus on ensuring all staff within their school receive more than adequate support to do their jobs to the best of their abilities. I am delighted to work with this school exclusively on their recruitment for this role and matching the perfect teacher for them. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum.
  • Plan and mark students' work to ensure continuous progress.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively to create a safe and supportive learning environment.
  • Support students in their transition into Year 6, ensuring they are well-prepared for the next stage of their education.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum.
  • Excellent behaviour management skills.
  • Commitment to the role and the ability to support children's educational and emotional needs.
  • Must have an up-to-date DBS on the update service.
