We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher suitable for early career professionals, to join our vibrant client, who are part of a multi-academy trust. This role involves teaching pupils in EYFS, and so a teacher with relevant skills and experience is important.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Teach pupils across the full age and ability range of Early Years.
  • Ensure the highest possible standards of pupil achievement, personal development, and well-being.
  • Utilise knowledge of national strategies such as Literacy, Numeracy, and ICT to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Employ effective use of ICT and other learning technologies to support and enhance pupils' learning experience.
  • Maintain statutory curriculum requirements and manage assessment, recording, and reporting of pupils’ attainment and progress.
  • Establish clear expectations and constructive working relationships within the classroom through team working and mutual support.
  • Contribute to the corporate life of the academy, demonstrating a commitment to equality of opportunity for all pupils.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to keep up-to-date with current educational practices and issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Graduate with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience of teaching in a Primary phase, and specifically in the EYFS.
  • High level of knowledge in current educational practice and issues in primary education.
  • Proficiency in using ICT to support learning.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • Strong written, oral, and communication skills.
  • High level of organisational and planning skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and relate well to colleagues, pupils, and parents.
  • Commitment to involvement in extra-curricular activities.
