We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher for Key Stage 2, who is passionate about providing high-quality education and fostering a positive learning environment. This role is ideal for early career teachers who are committed to developing their skills and making a significant impact in the lives of pupils.
This role will ideally run on a temp-to-perm basis, starting for the summer term (from 14th April 2025) via Reed Education, and transitioning to a permament contract for the new academic year in September 2025. We are still interested to hear from colleagues only available from September.
Day-to-day of the role:- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning to Key Stage 2 pupils, ensuring a stimulating and challenging learning environment.
- Lead and coordinate curriculum development, planning, teaching, and learning within Key Stage assessments.
- Monitor children’s progress and attainment, working collaboratively with colleagues to continuously raise standards.
- Develop effective professional relationships with all key stakeholders including colleagues, parents, partners, external bodies, and the wider community.
- Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a good and safe learning environment.
- Participate in whole school self-evaluation and school improvement planning.
- Contribute to the wider life and ethos of the school, promoting Fundamental British Values.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Excellent classroom practitioner with strong subject knowledge.
- Ability to engage pupils in challenging tasks and extend their knowledge.
- Experience in curriculum planning and assessment within Key Stage 2.
- Strong commitment to professional development and safeguarding practices.
- Ability to work effectively with the governing body, staff, parents, and other schools.
