Year 1/2 Class Teacher

Responsibilities:

  • Teaching: Deliver engaging and effective lessons to a mixed Year 1/2 class, ensuring all students are supported and challenged.
  • Behaviour Management: Implement strong behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.
  • Marking and Assessments: Regularly mark students' work and conduct assessments to monitor progress and inform future teaching.
  • Parental Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress and any concerns.
  • Planning: While planning is not required, there is an opportunity to get involved in lesson planning, which comes with allocated PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) time.
