Year 1/2 Class Teacher
Location: Primary School in DN7 area of DoncasterPosition: Year 1/2 Class Teacher (Temporary Cover)Duration: From Easter until the end of the school yearPay: From £140 per day
Responsibilities:
- Teaching: Deliver engaging and effective lessons to a mixed Year 1/2 class, ensuring all students are supported and challenged.
- Behaviour Management: Implement strong behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.
- Marking and Assessments: Regularly mark students' work and conduct assessments to monitor progress and inform future teaching.
- Parental Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress and any concerns.
- Planning: While planning is not required, there is an opportunity to get involved in lesson planning, which comes with allocated PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) time.
Requirements:
- Open to Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers
- Strong classroom management skills
- Passionate about teaching and fostering a positive learning environment
