Responsibilities:

  • Planning and Delivering Lessons: Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the national curriculum standards and cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Classroom Management: Establish and maintain a positive classroom environment that promotes respect, inclusivity, and a love for learning. Implement effective behavior management strategies.
  • Student Assessment: Regularly assess and monitor student progress through a variety of assessment methods. Provide constructive feedback and support to help students achieve their learning goals.
  • Differentiation: Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the varying abilities and learning styles of students, ensuring all students are challenged and supported.
  • Parental Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on student progress and addressing any concerns.
  • Record Keeping: Keep accurate records of student attendance, progress, and any other required documentation.
  • Professional Development: Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and deliver cross-curricular activities and school events. Share resources and strategies to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Pastoral Care: Provide emotional and social support to students, fostering a safe and nurturing environment where students feel valued and confident.

Requirements:
