Year 1 Teacher

• Daily Rate: £150 per day 

We are seeking a dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join our vibrant primary school team for a year-long maternity cover, starting in January. This role involves full class teacher responsibilities, offering a rewarding opportunity to shape young minds in a supportive and dynamic environment.

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and educational lessons that cater to the needs of all students in Year 1.
• Assess and record students’ progress, preparing reports and communicating with parents and guardians to support student development.
• Create a nurturing and safe learning environment that encourages curiosity and a love of learning.
• Collaborate with other teaching staff to enhance the educational environment and uphold the school’s standards.
• Participate in school events and activities, contributing to the school community and its ethos.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 or early years education.
• Strong understanding of the national curriculum and effective teaching methods.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage and inspire young children.
• Commitment to professional development and maintaining high teaching standards.
