Elevation Recruitment Group are working with an engineering company to recruit a Design Engineer to join their team in Doncaster.You will be working to a high level of competency in the creation of 3D models and corresponding drawing package Bom and structured part numbers. Duties of the Design Engineer will include:

Create and review drawings and designs to ascertain compliance with customer specifications, and organizational guidelines to ensure the product is workable and manufacturable
Lay out on CAD system new or modified products and parts in 2-D and 3-D models to meet customer specifications
Create on CAD system detail part drawings in 3-D models required by customer specifications
Review and investigate design alternatives and ensure all factors are considered to meet customer specifications, new products and revisions
Compare data from engineering bill-of-material to customer specifications to verify conformance
