Our client based in Doncaster is looking for a experienced Lead Engineer. You will have the overall responsibility for leading the maintenance team to maintain and repair all equipment.
This role is working Monday - Friday Days with 50,000 - 60,000 per year
The Role:
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of production process, equipment and technology
- Technical support and troubleshooting of production issues
- Manage the design, specification and ordering of equipment, liaising with technical staff
- Leadongoing and new projects
- Maintain and build working relationships
- Monitor the status of projects to the management team
- Continuous improvements of manufacturing processes
- Provide hands on engineering support to the maintenance team
The Candidate:
- A relevant engineering qualification (HNC, HND Degree)
- Experience within medium to heavy manufacturing in a Manufacturing environment
- Experience in a lead / supervisory role
- Understand Health and Safety procedures
- Strong IT skills, working knowledge of MS Office suite
- Logical thinker
- Organisational skills(priortise and work under pressure)
