Venn Group have been approached by a Charity and would like to introduce the following position available

Position:         Property Acquisition Leasing Manager

Location:        Yorkshire (Hybrid role with weekly travel viewing properties

(approx. 2 hour radius)

Rate:               £26.60 per hour (Umbrella rate)     

Length:           3 - 6 months with chance of permanent opportunity

Hours:             35 hours p/week (Mon – Fri)

The role will predominantly involve:

  • Responsible for achieving the charities housing property procurement requirements for the CAS-2 service for people on bail or released from prison under licenced conditions
  • Viewing properties within a quick turn around and as soon as they go out to market 
  • Liaising with landlords and relationship building
  • Time bound sensitive, being reactive to secure properties
  • Liaising and negotiating with landlords and bringing the properties up to specification in line with charities criteria 
  • Responsible for finalising leases with the landlord
  • A willingness to travel across regions and beyond primary patch
  • Problem solving and finding win/win positions in negotiations

To be considered for this role you will need to be able to have experience in/ or/ and experience is Residential Lettings, Property Management, Property Acquisition, Lease Negotiations, Property Standards, Property Defects identification and Remedy specification

You will also need to be able to drive, have access to a car and be happy for Venn Group to carry out a Basic DBS check for you
