About the Role

Weldricks Pharmacy has an opportunity for a Buyer to join our Buying Team in our Head Office based in Doncaster. Full system training provided by helpful and supportive colleagues.

This is a full-time permanent position working 37.5 hours per week with a salary up to £25,000.

Working days are Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.30pm.



Job Opportunity

Reporting to the Head of Buying we are looking for:

· Maintaining great relationships with a group of suppliers.

· Sourcing, purchasing and managing stocks of our core lines.

· Driving profitability through margin management.

· Arranging and seeing through customer promotions.

· Adhering to GDP processes.



Essential Skills

As our Buyer, you will possess the following qualities:

· Excellent communication skills

· Strong negotiation skills

· High level of organisational skills

· Proficiency in Excel

· Right to Work in the UK

Our on-line service is supervised by fully qualified pharmacists and technicians . All medicine sales are authorised and checked before being dispatched to you. If necessary, we may contact you to ask further questions and ensure that the medicine is suitable for you. Our on-line customer service team are available to give professional healthcare advice in a confidential environment either by email or telephone.
