As an Engineering Buyer, you will play a pivotal role in the procurement of engineering components and materials, ensuring that the supply chain aligns seamlessly with production requirements. You’ll work closely with internal teams and suppliers to source the best quality products at the most competitive prices, all while maintaining strict adherence to specifications.

• Interpreting Engineering Drawings: Analyse and understand technical drawings to determine procurement requirements.
• Supplier Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality compliance.
• Cost Optimisation: Negotiate prices and contracts to deliver cost savings without compromising quality.
• Inventory Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams to manage stock levels and forecast procurement needs.
• Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure that all purchased items meet technical and regulatory standards.
