Buyer

Permanent, Doncaster, £30-33K, 40 Hours per week

We are looking to recruit a Buyer for our Doncaster based client. Duties and responsibilities of the Buyer will include:

• Going out to the market place to source products based on quality and price

• Analysing prices and ensuring cost are kept within the budgets

• Managing supplier performance and KPI's

• Support the Engineering and Technical teams with sourcing and supplying components

• Inventory management and tracking

• Stock Audits and stock reports

• Forecasting and stock availability

• Lead 5S to ensure a clean and organised workspace

To be considered for the role of Buyer you must:

• Preferably be a member of the CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply).

• Have previous experience within a buying role

• Hold a solid understanding of technical components

• Be well organised and be able to prioritise

• A good knowledge of Health & Safety, and experience with risk assessments and COSHH is advantageous

• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.

• Self-motivated with a drive for efficiency and cost savings.
