Hays Construction are recruiting for an experienced and professional specialist SME contractor based in Doncaster. We are looking for a motivated and ambitious Assistant / Quantity Surveyor to join the team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate with 2-3 years of post-graduate experience to develop their skills and grow within the company.Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and budgets for construction projectsConduct site visitsSupport the preparation of tender documents and contractsMonitor project progress and ensure costs are kept within budgetCollaborate with the Senior QS / Commercial Manager, Project Managers, Site Teams and all external stakeholders involved in the projectPrepare and submit regular reports on project financialsAssist in the resolution of any financial disputes or issuesRequirements:
Ideally, a BSc Quantity Surveying or Construction Management2-3 years of post-graduate experience in quantity surveying or a similar roleStrong analytical and numerical skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency in relevant software (e.g., MS Excel, cost estimating software).Ability to work independently and as part of a teamCareer ambition and personal developmentWhat We Offer:
