School Lunchtime Supervisor

V-Recruit are excited to be working in partnership with one of the UKs most forward thinking, recognised and respected Multi-Academy Trusts to recruit 2 x School Lunchtime Supervisors for one of their Secondary academies, based in Doncaster, South Yorkshire

10 hours per week, 2 hours per day Monday to Friday - 11.45am-1.45pm

11.50 per hour, paid weekly

Term-time only (38 weeks per year)

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the well-being, health, and safety of students is maintained during lunchtime breaks.

Duties to include:

  • Ensure acceptable standards of behaviour are maintained during the lunchtime period.
  • Earn the respect of the students by modelling outstanding behaviour, manners, speech and appearance at all times
  • Ensure all students follow Academy and Trust rules at all times.
  • Supervise students in other areas of the site as directed
  • Cleaning and clearing the tables in the dining area.
  • Unload and put away chairs and tables.
  • Empty bins and ensure dining areas are free of litter.
  • Ensure all rubbish is taken to outside bin areas.
  • Intervene in student behavioural issues, using positive behaviour management strategies to bring about the improvements of student behaviour.
  • Support the catering staff where needed.
  • Raise any safeguarding concerns regarding students in an appropriate manner.

The chosen candidate will be personable, confident, and professional and take pride in all aspects of their work. You will be required to undergo any additional training as required by the Trust.
