English Teacher & Life Skills

£150 – £220 – Per Day.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Full UK QTS with an English Specialism

Start date: Monday 6th January 2024 – Flexible start dates available

Working days: Monday – Wednesday

Hours: 8:30am – 15:30pm.

About the role

As an English Teacher this is a great chance to shape the future of students who are unable to access mainstream education. In this role you will work with the most vulnerable students, advancing their education in lessons and in wider school life. As an English Teacher, you will tailor lessons to the individual needs of the students and remove barriers to learning, for KS4. This role will also involve you teaching some PSHE and life skills. The role will require you to engage with pupils who have needs such as MLD, ASC, ADHD, SLD and SEMH.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of English Teacher you will:

  • Have a desire to work with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities
  • Have an enthusiastic and motivated attitude
  • Have full UK QTS specialising in English
  • Be able to plan and teach up to GCSE level
  • An enhanced Child & Adult workforce DBS that is on the update service. Or willingness to apply for one through us.
