This permanent, full-time position starts in January 2025 and offers a salary of MPS/UPS (£30,000 to £46,525) plus SEN1 allowance (£2,539) pending the 2024-25 Teachers' Pay Award. The role is based at a Chesterfield site, with travel to other academy locations and occasional visits to pupils' homes (mileage expenses reimbursed).

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a passionate and resilient Maths Teacher who can engage and inspire challenging and disengaged pupils. The ideal candidate will:

• Have experience working with pupils with behavioural, emotional, and social difficulties.
• Demonstrate a growth mindset and a positive, flexible attitude.
• Be a creative problem solver who can think outside the box to meet individual pupil needs.
• Build strong, positive relationships with pupils and staff alike.

Your Role as a Maths Teacher

• Teach maths to KS3 and KS4 pupils across the academy.
• Serve as a form tutor, contributing to the pastoral development of pupils.
• Prepare and deliver a bespoke curriculum that sets the foundation for future success.
• Collaborate with a small, close-knit team to ensure the smooth running of the academy.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment where every child can thrive.
