We are seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Doncaster. This temporary role is ideal for an enthusiastic individual who is ready to start immediately. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, marking, and delivering comprehensive science lessons to foster students’ understanding and enthusiasm for the subject.
Day-to-day of the role:- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and informative science lessons that meet the curriculum standards.
- Mark and assess students’ work, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a conducive learning environment.
- Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students’ varying needs and interests.
- Maintain up-to-date records of students’ progress and development.
- Collaborate with other teaching staff and participate in regular meetings and school training events.
- Must hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or a PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education).
- Proven experience in teaching Science at the secondary level.
