Academics is seeking an experienced and flexible Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work across primary schools in Doncaster. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work in a variety of schools, providing essential support to students and helping them reach their full potential. The role offers flexibility, with the option to choose your availability for day-to-day or longer-term supply contracts.

About the Role:As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons, providing 1:1 and small group support, and assisting with classroom management. You will work closely with teachers to support the learning and development of students, helping them engage with the curriculum and fostering a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take on the role of the Higher Level Teaching Assistant, delivering lessons under the direction of the class teacher.
  • Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support for students, particularly those with additional learning needs.
  • Assist in maintaining good classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive learning environment.
  • Support the planning, development, and implementation of individual learning plans.
  • Help in the emotional and social development of students, particularly those with special educational needs.
  • As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will assist teachers in preparing resources and setting up classroom activities.
