We are seeking experienced Behaviour Support Worker to join our dedicated team, working with children who have SEMH and behavioural needs. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about providing high-level support to children with complex needs, including ASD, PMLD, PDA, and ADHD.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Provide tailored support to children with SEMH and behavioural needs, ensuring they achieve their full potential in a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Implement personalised learning plans and engage students through interactive and adaptive teaching methods.
  • Work closely with other educational professionals to monitor and report on the children’s progress.
  • Assist with the development of social skills and positive behaviour management.
  • Facilitate small group and one-to-one sessions that cater to individual learning needs and abilities.
  • Support the classroom teacher with daily activities and create a supportive learning environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant/Behaviour Support Worker, specifically supporting children with ASD, PMLD, PDA, and ADHD.
  • Strong understanding of the challenges faced by children with SEMH and behavioural needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, staff, and parents.
  • Patience, resilience, and a compassionate approach to supporting learning.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to create an inclusive educational atmosphere.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
