I have the pleasure of supporting Doncaster City Council in their current permanent recruitment campaign. I have a role of a senior support worker in their adult's respite service based in Armthorpe. Respite Services is a registered service for people with physical, learning, or sensory disabilities.Salary details: £25696 - £28176 depending on experience plus an 8.5% shift allowance and sleep in rate, 37-hour post and a mixture of days and afters as well as sleep ins on a rota basis and there is a requirement to work every other weekend.

Job detail are as follows.

Be 50/50 with being hands on with the personal care and medication and supporting care staff.You will perform appraisals and step in for the senior team.Will Include sleep ins

To lead the shift in supervising support workers

To oversee staff rotas ensuring they reflect the identified need for service deliveryWorking with clients with ADHD etc. All placed on respite care, a mix 18- 85yrs old, anything from complex needs, dementia or someone who is independent.You will be actively involved in care plans 

To be a positive role model at all times

Any other duties that may be reasonably required.
