Are you an experienced care professional passionate about supporting children and young people? We're seeking a dedicated Senior Residential Support Worker to join our team in Doncaster.
Position: PermanentHours: Full-Time (37 hours per week) & Part-Time (18.5 hours per week)Salary:Grade 8, £32,662 - £36,239 pro rata + 8.5% unsocial hours allowanceAdditional Benefits:
- £40.77 per sleep-in shift
- Overtime over 37 hours paid at time and a quarter

- 2 weekends off out of 4
As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will work closely with the Registered and Deputy Manager to lead shifts, supervise staff, and ensure high standards of care for young people with complex needs. You'll play a crucial role in supporting the team and providing a safe, nurturing environment for children and young people to thrive.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead shifts and supervise a team of support workers.
- Assist with care planning and ensure young people's emotional, social, and physical needs are met.
- Build positive relationships with children and young people, especially those with complex behaviours.
- Contribute to staff training and development.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Participate in sleep-in duties as required.
- Level 3 TQUK Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent.
- At least 12 months' experience in a residential children's home, with skills in managing complex behaviours.
- Passion for working with children and young people.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work weekends and unsocial hours.
- Competitive salary with all-inclusive 8.5% allowance (£35,438 - £39,319).
- £40.77 per sleep-in shift, with overtime paid at time and a quarter.

- Mornings: 7am - 3pm
- Afters: 2pm - 10pm
- Afters & Sleeps: 2pm - 11pm, then 7am - 2pm
- 9 days off per 4-week rota with 2 weekends off out of 4.
