Role: Health & Social Care Assessor / Tutor Location: South Yorkshire Type: Permanent - Full Time Salary: £27,500 - £30,000 Eden Brown are recruiting for a Health & Social Care Assessor / Tutor for a Training Provider providing training to Adult students who are already employed or preparing to enter into their chosen profession. We are looking for a tutor with occupational competency working in the care sector. This is a full-time role delivering all aspects of apprenticeships from Level 2 to Level 5. Potential candidates will need to be able to deliver outstanding teaching, learning and assessment to support learners through to completion. You will be a key part of the team and will lead the planning, preparation & reviewing of learning in conjunction with relevant curriculum staff, providing feedback and carrying out reviews as appropriate to ensure students are making expected progress and working towards outcomes. There is no requirement to deliver functional skills as part of this role. This role is homebased with travel expected as and when required. Responsibilities to include: * To ensure the marking of work and assessment are completed in a timely manner and that this is then given in both written and verbal developmental feedback to your learners. * To proactively prepare learners for assessment which includes all End Point Assessment (EPA) requirements, portfolio assessments and online assessments as required by the qualifications and apprenticeship standards/frameworks you deliver across. * Complete high quality learner progress reviews that cover all aspects of the programme and enhances future progress towards completion of all aims. Progress reviews for apprenticeships must include the learner and employer. * To keep up to date with all key funding and qualification updates up dates required for all provision including apprenticeships, classroom based learning and End Pont Assessment changes. * To keep all progress records up to date with work uploaded to all monitoring systems in a timely manner. monitoring systems include paper based records and e-portfolios. * To deliver a range of core courses to support learners develop Employability and Personal Social Development skills to move them nearer to the local labour market. * To develop and maintain more than one competencies in two vocational areas within the business curriculum portfolio. * Complete surveys with learners across the learner and employer journey. These include induction, on programme, exit surveys and employer surveys. * Collect case studies for learners and employers so that ITS can use for promotional reasons and to evidence the impact of the service provided. * To keep your line manager regularly updated on course progression and supply information as required to them. Candidates must have: * Teaching qualification at level 4 and willingness to work towards level 4 * TAQA/Assessor qualification at level 3 or willingness to work towards * 3 yrs experience delivering high quality apprenticeship provision in Health and Social Care * Experience of delivering level 4 and level 5 apprenticeships in Health and Social Care * 3 yrs experience delivering high quality classroom room based provision in Health and Social Care Candidates must also have a current DBS if you do not have one we can get one on your behalf If this position could be of interested please contact Callum Boyle on or
