The SEN Teaching Assistant will provide 1-1 support for a child within a specialist provision. Duties of the SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Provide 1-1 support to students with SEND and facilitate group work
- Assist the teacher with the planning and delivery of lessons
- Build positive relationships with students, teachers and parents
- Assist students with their learning activities
- Help students develop social and emotional skills
Role Requirements:
- Commitment to safeguarding young children
- Experience working with students with SEND
- Excellent communication skills
- A passion for supporting students with additional needs
- A flexible approach to help meet the needs of students with additional needs
