Special Needs Teaching Assistant

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting pupils with special educational needs in their learning and development.
  • Assisting the class teacher in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Providing one-to-one or small group support as required.
  • Helping to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
  • Encouraging pupils to develop their social skills and independence.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs in a similar role or a transferable role.
  • Confidence and a proactive approach to supporting children with diverse needs.
  • A DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
  • A commitment to going above and beyond to support our pupils.
