About the CollegeThe college offers education for students aged 18 to 25 with a range of complex care needs, including behaviours that challenge, learning disabilities, and Autism. Their mission is to provide a fully person-centred, therapeutic environment that supports each student’s individual needs, goals, and potential.

About the RoleAs a Tutor, you’ll design and deliver engaging, practical learning experiences tailored to each student's EHCP outcomes. Your role will involve:

Delivering life skills training, functional English and Maths

Supporting students through social enterprise projects as part of vocational and employability training

Embedding functional skills such as communication, ICT, and problem-solving into everyday learning

Creating personalised enrichment packages that reflect each learner’s interests and needs

Celebrating student progress daily, both formally and informally

Facilitating learning experiences in the local and wider community
In addition to delivering accredited qualifications where appropriate, the RARPA model is used to ensure meaningful progress is always recognised and tracked.
The Ideal CandidateWe're looking for someone with the right mix of passion, experience, and adaptability. You will need:

A recognised teaching qualification

Experience working with students with SEND, Autism, and complex behaviours

A strong understanding of EHCPs and personalised planning

Flexibility to teach across subjects and work collaboratively with therapeutic and care staff

Excellent communication skills to engage with students, families, and professionals
