Procurement Manager - Indirect SpendLocation: Hybrid working across North of EnglandSalary: c.£50,000 - £60,000Grafton Recruitment are working with a large high volume manufacturing organisation to appoint a procurement professional to manage indirect spend with a focus on their UK capital expenditure (Capex) spend.

You will be involved in managing the commercial aspects of site engineering, build projects, and manufacturing automation equipment projects, tendering, negotiating new and re-negotiating existing agreements, and also identifying opportunities for savings across the breadth of the spend area.This is a large, dynamic organisation, offering great opportunities for development and a challenging career.Requirements:

  • Previous background in indirect procurement with experience of high value capex projects.
  • Delivering against procurement strategy.
  • Experience of creating tendering and good contract knowledge.
  • Experience of negotiating terms and contracts.
  • Managing and advising internal stakeholders on the procurement process and ensuring competitive procurement processes.
  • Identifying and delivering cost savings.
  • Managing supplier performance.
