Supply Chain Executive - Doncaster - up to £30k

Supply Chain Executive benefits:

The Supply Chain Executive is an interesting role, supporting the Supply Chain Manager:

In summary, the role is to ensure stock availability, ordering products quickly and efficiently, responding to Sales and CS stock queries ASAP and always ensuring correct product data on NetSuite.

Duties include:

• Placing purchase orders with suppliers to ensure deliveries are made OTIF

• Own the relationship with the suppliers, negotiating and driving cost savings

• Buying cheaper or alternative equivalent products that meet the needs of the client

• Proactively sourcing alternative products and innovation in the marketplace and presenting these to the marketing and sales team for approval

• Reviewing purchase orders and ensuring the due dates and prices are correct

• Managing the purchasing system and respond to all queries urgently

• Provide first class support to the other departments to ensure customer needs are met

• Review sales and demand to ensure correct re-order points on popular items

• Support the warehouse with delivery queries and ensure good communications
