Are you an experienced receptionist looking for a rewarding part-time role in the education sector? We are an established education recruitment agency, and we're currently seeking a professional and approachable Receptionist to work in secondary schools in the DN14 area, Scunthorpe.

Position: Part-Time School Receptionist
Location: DN14 area, Scunthorpe
Working Days: Thursday & Friday
Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (may vary slightly depending on school requirements)



Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist visitors, students, and staff in a friendly, professional manner.
  • Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate departments.
  • Manage administrative tasks including responding to emails, data entry, and maintaining school records.
  • Handle confidential information in compliance with school policies.
  • Support staff with general office duties as needed.


Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a receptionist or similar customer-facing role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general office equipment.
  • A calm and organized approach in a busy school environment.
  • An enhanced DBS check will be required (we can assist with this if necessary).
