Job Role:Engineering Supervisor

Basic Starting Salary:£47 000 Per Year

Location:Doncaster, South Yorkshire (Commutable from West Yorkshire & South Yorkshire)

Working Hours:Days Only | Monday-Friday | 8am-4pm

This company are a multi-million pound, leading and long established manufacturer in the plastics industry, with multiple sites in South Yorkshire.

They design and manufacture a wide range of systems to manage water and enable carbon-efficient heating and ventilation for all sectors of the construction industry.

The Engineering Supervisor Role

  • To supervise, control and prioritise all service activities
  • Perform daily briefings to team, and supply regular written reports to the wider department
  • Assist in ensuring efficient and effective manpower and resource planning and control
  • Management of Contractors in delivering services onsite and ensuring full compliance with relevant Site safety rules
  • Identification and reviewing of training and maintenance of staff competence
  • Coordinate/support with breakdown diagnostics, repairs and corrective maintenance
  • Maintenance checks and remedial repairs in line with processes
  • Management of the engineering stores and identify gaps in criticality of provision.
  • Contribute to the collection of Data and the generation of KPI reporting. Act as champion for the CMMS system.

The Person

  • Desires to work alongside a great team and management for the long term, with ambitions to stay and develop in to higher management
  • Comes from a manufacturing background or similar
  • Apprentice trained / Level 3 qualified or equivalent
