We are seeking for Full Time Permanent Skilled Upholsterers.

  • Working Monday to Friday 05.30am to 13.45pm.

Pay Rates - £14.04 per hour plus performance bonus and comprehensive benefits

£1000 Retention bonus after 12 months, T&Cs apply

Our Client is looking for:

  • We are looking for Skilled and Experienced Upholsterers to join their Furniture Manufacturing.
  • Previous Upholstery experience is essential, ideally from a production line environment
  • You will take great pride in knowing that your craftsmanship has shaped the finished product.
  • As well as looking for great skills and impressive experience, we want people with energy and a positive attitude

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in upholstery, with the ability to fabricate, sew, and assemble various furniture pieces. This role requires mechanical knowledge and proficiency in using both hand and power tools. The Upholsterer will work in a warehouse environment, performing tasks that involve heavy lifting and ensuring high-quality finishes on all products.

  • Fabricate upholstery components according to specifications and design requirements.
  • Sew fabric and other materials together using industrial sewing machines.
  • Assemble furniture pieces, ensuring structural integrity and aesthetic appeal.
  • Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently for various upholstery tasks.
  • Perform quality checks on completed work to ensure it meets company standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and customer expectations.
  • Our Upholsterers are key in manufacturing the high quality sofas, chairs and footstools our customers expect.
  • Our unique 'plan by model’ production system gives our Upholsterers the best opportunity to maximise their earnings.
  • We have all year round manufacturing stability.
  • We source great quality fabrics, and also have our own in-house foam/fibre and frame-making operations to support you.
