The Company

We are recruiting on behalf of a specialist engineering company that provides servicing, repairs, and maintenance for a variety of heavy-duty vehicles, including HGVs, marine, industrial mining, and off-highway vehicles. They are looking for a skilled HGV Mechanic who is eager to expand their expertise and transition into working on marine, industrial, mining, and off-highway vehicles.

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HGV Mechanic looking to develop their career by gaining hands-on experience with specialist drivetrain and industrial equipment across multiple industries. You will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and overhauling drivetrain and mechanical systems, including engines, transmissions, gears, and fluid couplings. The position involves a mix of workshop-based work and travel for on-site servicing across the UK and globally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, service, and repair HGV drivetrain and mechanical systems (engines, transmissions, gears, flywheels, and fluid couplings), with the opportunity to transition into marine, industrial, mining, and off-highway vehicle maintenance.• Work in the workshop and travel for on-site servicing across the UK and internationally.• Perform fault-finding, diagnostics, and preventative maintenance.• Ensure all work meets high industry and safety standards.• Provide technical support and liaise with customers on-site.
