Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Vehicle Technician to join a forward thinking team in Doncaster, South Yorkshire. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance and a passion for providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various makes and models of vehicles- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues- Use diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve vehicle problems- Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used- Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle issues and repairs- Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards- Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and new technologies- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations
Qualifications:
- NVQ 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair- Minimum of 3 years experience as an Automotive Vehicle Technician- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components- Ability to use diagnostic equipment and interpret diagnostic codes- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment- Team player with excellent communication and customer service skills- Valid driver's license
