I am currently working with a local authority who are looking to recruit Vehicle Technician to join their friendly team.

As Vehicle Technician you will be a member of a team responsible for delivering high quality, credible and timely transactional and outcome focused support services covering light vehicle fleet management. You will deliver excellent customer service and demonstrate real value to front line services through effective service delivery.

As Vehicle Technician you will be responsible for:

  • Responsible for providing high quality, credible and timely transactional support services for the maintenance of the fleet, delivering excellent customer service.
  • You will deliver services in accordance with agreed standards including KPIs and SLAs as well as contributing to the delivery of ongoing process and service improvements.
  • Effective maintenance and management of fleet in accordance with relevant legislation, regulations or procedures as applicable.

The ideal candidate should process the following skills and experience:

  • Experience in all aspects of motor vehicle repair and diagnostics
  • Experience of working in a high-volume workshop.
  • Experience in vehicle diagnosis processes
  • Being a qualified MOT tester would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Full current driving licence which is relevant to the areas of fleet to which you provide support.
  • L.G.V Category B licence may be beneficial, and training can be provided.
