Business Improvement Supervisor
Monday to Friday – 14:30 – 23:00
Location: South Yorkshire
Salary: Circa £28,500
Venatu Recruitment Group is proud to partner with a leading distribution and wholesale company in search of an experienced Business Improvement Supervisor. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic National Distribution Centre at a time of significant growth.
Role Overview:
The Business Improvement Supervisor is responsible for overseeing a team of Business Improvement operatives ensuring they complete various stock checking activity across the warehouse, and reporting back findings to the stock integrity manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the team of business improvement operatives ensuring counts are completed as appropriate
- Ensure coordination across different work streams
- Monitor and drive performance against KPIs, ensuring high levels of efficiency, accuracy, and service delivery.
- Directly manage the business improvement operatives
- Oversee talent development initiatives
- Promote an inclusive and high-performing workplace culture
- Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives based on stock results and count findings
- Ensure best practices are implemented and maintained
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience in a similar role within a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Proven ability to manage teams
Skills:
- Strong analytical thinking capabilities.
- Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
