HGV Class 1 Driver
Monday - Friday: 04:00 - 08:00 start times
Pay Rate: £15.68 per hour basic / £23.52 per hour overtime after 48 hours
People Solutions are currently recruiting for experienced Class 1 Drivers to join our well-established client based out of their depot in Doncaster, South Yorkshire.
We are looking for day drivers with potential to do the occasional night out.
This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress.
This role may become permanent for the right candidate.

Day to Day Duties
- Trunk runs to depots
- Curtain side work
- Positive 'can do' attitude
- Drive Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently
- Follow Company policies and procedures
- Comply with Driving rules and regulations
- Conduct vehicle inspections and report any faults to management
Essential Skills
- Hold a valid UK Category CE Driving Licence
- Hold a valid UK CPC and UK Digital Tachograph Card
- Have a minimum of 24 months experience driving CE vehicles
- Maximum of six penalty points with no major endorsement codes
- Work in a professional manner
- Excellent communication skills
Desirable Experience
- Experience of working on a general haulage contract is desirable but not essential
Training
- Written and driving assessment will be required
