Our client is looking to recruit several Warehouse Operatives to join a friendly team within a well-established company. We are seeking motivated & driven candidates who want to learn new skills and gain new experiences to progress within their career.
Job Responsibilities:
As a warehouse operative your duties will include:
· Handling the full range of goods in the UK, including but not limited to age restricted products, food (including nuts and meat) and alcohol and chemicals
- Efficiently and effectively receiving and storing goods inwards following Amazon's internal processes and procedures and using radio frequency scanners
- Accurately pack and ship our customer orders to ensure we meet customers' high expectations.
- Accurately pick products, potentially on a multi-level mezzanine or using a high-level picker
Physical Demands - The role involves the following physical demands daily:
- Standing and/or walking during the duration of a shift (standard full-time shifts are 10 hours excluding overtime, flex and part-time shifts may vary)
- Lifting and moving products up to 23kg in weight
- Lifting, bending, reaching above the head, kneeling, crouching, and/or stretching during the duration of a shift
- Pushing and pulling product up to 23kg in weight during the duration of a shift
- Manual dexterity of both hands and wrists
- Working on a secure mezzanine at a height of between 9 to 12 metres (equivalent to a 3 or 4 storey building)
- Regularly climbing and descending flights of stairs safely

Shifts and Salary:
£12.30 per hour for day shifts
£14.27 per hour for nights
£18.45 per hour for over time 40-50 hours
£24.60 per hour for over time 50-60 hours
Available shifts:
30.0 hrs (6.00am -12.30pm
40.0 hrs (11.45-10.15am
20.0 hrs (11.45-10.15am
New shifts:
6am-12.30pm 30 hours per week
12.30pm-8pm 35 hours per week
4pm-9pm 16 hours per week
2.30am-11am 40 hours per week
4pm-11pm Full time 5/7 days, have to work Mondays on this shift
