Job Title: Fabricator/Welder
Rate of pay: £15.50 - £17.50
Location: Rotherham
Job Summary
Due to our clients ever growing order book they're on the look for 2 more fabricator/welders. The job will require 75% fabrication so strong fabricating skills will be required.
Responsibilities
- Weld and fabricate metal components according to engineering drawings
- Use power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and assemble metal pieces
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications
- Work with sheet metal and other materials to create structures
- Utilise mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues
Skills
- Proficient in welding techniques such as stick welding
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Competent in basic maths for measurements and calculations
- Experience working with power tools and hand tools
- Strong ability to assemble metal components accurately
