Job Title: MIG Welder
Location: Doncaster
Duration: Temporary to Permanent
Hours: Monday to Thursday - 06:00 to 16:30
Pay Rate: 15.59 per hour (PAYE)

We are currently recruiting for a number of MIG Welders based in Doncaster. This role offers the opportunity to transition from a temporary to a permanent position, providing stability and growth within a reputable company. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in welding, fabrication and repair tasks using a variety of tools and machinery.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
* Use oxygen/acetylene, MIG, and other hand & power tools to perform welding, cutting, and drilling functions on all types of metals.
* Perform welding and fabrication tasks to manufacture and repair metal components and structures.
* Ensure all welded items meet required specifications and quality standards.
* Fabricate and repair trailer bodies.
* Safely operate welding machinery and ensure the correct use of safety equipment.
* Inspect and verify items for proper length, width, and shape.
* Adhere to all company health and safety policies and procedures.

Experience, Skills, Knowledge, and Competencies:
* Proven experience in welding and fabrication, including MIG welding and use of various hand & power tools.
* Knowledge of welding trade practices and safety procedures.
* Strong familiarity with the tools and equipment used in welding and fabrication work.
* Ability to use welding machinery effectively and to a high standard.
* Excellent manual dexterity and ability to handle a variety of tools and equipment.
* Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in measurements and welding tasks.
