We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Pipe Fitter to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to exciting residential and domestic projects in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining piping systems in homes, apartment buildings, and small-scale commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required shapes using hand and power tools.

  • Install and assemble piping systems for water, heating, gas, and drainage applications in residential and domestic settings.

  • Inspect piping systems for leaks, defects, or required maintenance.

  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with health and safety regulations.

  • Collaborate with plumbers, engineers, and other tradespeople to ensure project success.

  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs as required.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Pipe Fitter or similar role in residential or domestic settings.

  • Strong understanding of domestic piping systems, materials, and installation techniques.

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.

  • Skilled in the use of hand and power tools for pipe fitting.

  • Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations in residential construction.

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing & Heating, Gas Safe certification, CSCS card) are advantageous.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
