The Role

As a Commissioning Engineer, you will:

  • Support the design, build, test, and ongoing support of automated electromechanical systems and subsystems.
  • Utilise your hands-on skills to build and test designs, along with advanced diagnostic and commissioning capabilities.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including Workshop, Software, and Service/Support functions.
  • Accurately build and test electrical systems, ensuring safety and documenting processes meticulously.
  • Travel to client sites for the installation of robotic automation systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and resolve electrical and mechanical faults.
  • Communicate effectively at a high technical level in both written and verbal English.
  • Read and understand technical electrical/mechanical drawings.
  • Plan workload and complete tasks autonomously.
  • Work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Adhere to health and safety requirements.

Requirements

  • HNC in an electrical-focused course, electrical apprentice trained, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong understanding of industrial systems.
  • Ability to rapidly learn new technology.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Must be a British passport holder due to security clearance requirements.
