Responsibilities:
  • Meal Preparation:Aid in preparing high-quality meals for residents
  • Team Management:Assist the Chef Manager in managing the catering team
  • Food Hygiene & Safety:Promote and monitor food hygiene and safety standards, conduct risk assessments, and ensure the kitchen is cleaned to a high standard
  • Menu Planning:Assist with menu planning
  • Leadership:Take responsibility for the kitchen and staff in the Chef Manager's absence
About You:
  • Experience:At least 3 years as a Chef or in a similar role
  • Qualifications:City & Guilds 7061 or NVQ Level 2 in Catering for the Hospitality Industry, valid food hygiene certificate
  • Skills:Friendly and approachable, proactive, passionate about high-quality food, can-do attitude, able to take initiative and responsibility
