Project Engineer, Dorset, £60,000 plus benefits

As a Project Engineer within this innovative and progressive engineering organisation, you will support the Project Manager in delivery of life cycle of project works within the Wessex Water region.  Deliver beyond expectations to delight customers, whilst achieving financial objectives.

Project Engineer Responsibilities

  • Clearly define the project scope and maintain control at all times using company project processes and procedures.
  • Identify and develop new opportunities for projects through business relationships.
  • Identify engineering challenges and implement solution to overcome.
  • Ensure the business and clients’ interests are a priority at all times.
  • Maintain accurate risk and issue register and develop mitigating actions to address both.
  • Obtain the relevant TWOSA, TCOP and permits to work on behalf of the business if needed.
  • Point of contact for engineers and technicians on a daily basis both regarding the contract and technical queries.
  • Liaise with procurement concerning suppliers, deliveries and ordering.

Project Engineer Skills & Experience Required

  • Working knowledge of on-site engineering projects
  • Previous experience in water industry (preferred not essential)
  • HND qualification essential
  • Environmental, Health & Safety knowledge
