JOB – Senior Electrical Design Engineer LOCATION – DorsetTERM – Permanent SALARY –  £60,000 - £70,000 per annum.  A UK based Engineering company are looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.The Senior Electrical Design Engineerwill ideally have the following attributes:
  • BEng or equivalent electrical engineering qualification or relevant discipline.
  • 5 years’ experience in electrical design in a relevant industry such as Maritime or Power.
  • Good understanding of CAD electrical design packages.
  • Ideally experience with Power equipment such as amplifiers.
  • Positive & keen-to-learn attitude.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work alone or as part of a team.
The Senior Electrical Design Engineer’s duties will involve:
  • Working closely with other engineers to design & develop systems for the marine sector.
  • Participate in verification.
  • Ensuring health & safety regulations are followed at all times.
  • Ensuring customer requirements are met at all times.
