Panel Wirers required for there site in Dorchester.
As a Panel Wirer, you must have a strong background within control panel wiring and wiring of special purpose machinery. You must be able to read and understand engineering drawings & schematics. Previous experience of working with MCB's, Contactors, Relays, Inverter Drives & PLC's is essential for this role.
You will be drawings and schematics.
Main Responsibilities:
- Wiring on special purpose machinery
- Wiring control panels for production machinery
- Wiring and assembly of components for control panels & cabinets
- Cable crimping and termination of wires using various hand tools
- Panel & machine fitting work, marking out, drilling & tapping. Cutting metal to size.
- Must be competent in using various hand tools such as spanners, screw drivers, ratchet sets as well as electric power tools.
- Reading and interpreting wiring drawings and schematics
Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
- Friday: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM
- Flexible start and finish times available
