Are you a Finance Manager with experience working within Practice or an Engineering business, looking to take on an autonomous role where you will play an integral part for this company that will continually invest back into you and your career?

On offer is a brilliant opportunity where you will become a fundamental asset to the business. You will be managing monthly / annual payroll, providing counsel to the board on the current financial position of the company and provide guidance to the board in supporting the short / long term success of the company.

This Company have been established for over 20 years and have opened a new facility in Sheffield . They are nationally recognised for the specialist work they do within the Aerospace, Defence and Renewable Energy industries. With the quality of their work they have created a strong reputation for designing and building complete process solutions to the highest quality, providing customers with great efficiency.

This role would suit an experienced Finance Manager who is a natural leader and has great communication skills that is looking for an exciting new opportunity to be apart of a well established and rapidly growing company.

The responsibilities:

  • Overseeing and managing monthly / annual payroll activity
  • Legal Submissions and requirements of a finance function
  • Reviewing VAT transactions and filing quarterly VAT returns.
  • Financial modelling for forecasting, variance analysis and budgeting
  • Overseeing the work of other finance colleagues
  • Provide guidance to the board in supporting the short and long term success of the company

The person:

  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
  • Experience in a cross functional project environment or within practice
  • Experience using SAGE software
